JUST ANNOUNCED - THREDBO BLUES FEST 2012 

Following a great week in the studio tracking the second album (due early 2012) with the brilliant Jeff Lang, The Jed Rowe Band are pleased to announce that we'll be playing at Thredbo Blues Festival Jan 13-15 2012. THE JED ROWE BAND IN THE STUDIO WITH JEFF LANG

We're very excited to announce that The Jed Rowe Band are due to go into the studio in July to record our 2nd full length album with one of our favourite musicians JEFF LANG at the helm as producer. Jed met Jeff while participating in the PUSHSONGS mentoring program in Melbourne and liked Jed's songs so much that he's signed on to produce the record. The album is due for release in early 2012, but expect to hear a taste of the record later this year. TAS TOUR - JUNE 2010

 After several years hiatus with recording and family commitments, Jed will make a long overdue return to Tasmanian shores with a 3 date June tour. While Rowe has toured Tasmania solo several times in the past, he'll be bringing his band along with him for the first time to help introduce "Midnight Sun" to Tasmanian audiences. The Jed Rowe Band play three shows, at The Alley Cat Bar, Hobart, on June 25th, The Stage Door Cafe, Upper Burnie, on June 26th, and The Bridge Hotel, Forth, on June 27th. JUST ANNOUNCED - EAST COAST TOUR IN MAY!

By popular demand The Jed Rowe Band will return to the East Coast in May for a short run of shows in Northern NSW and South East QLD. All shows are free entry, so check the GIG GUIDE and get along to a show near you. VIC RESIDENTS - keep an eye on the gig guide for a show near you as the VIC album launch tour rolls on through the month of April.

  

VIC TOUR DATES FOR FEB ANNOUNCED 

Following up on their successful tour of the East Coast, The Jed Rowe Band will celebrate their return home with a string of Vic tour dates through the month of February.  NORTHCOTE SOCIAL CLUB - SUNDAY DEC 6TH

The Jed Rowe Band will play one last big Melbourne show before heading north on an East Coast tour over December and January. On Sunday December 6th they will support Melbourne singer/songwriter/producer Jona Byron as he launches his mini album "Extinct Hearts" with a matinee show at The Northcote Social Club.  Doors open 1:30pm, Cilla Jane play at 2pm, The Jed Rowe Band at 3pm and Jona Byron at 4pm. Entry is $10, Northcote Social Club is at 301 High Street Northcote.

NEW MELBOURNE SHOWCASE GIGS ANNOUNCED!

Two new Melbourne shows have been announced to see out 2009 - On Saturday  October 31st the band will perform an intimate headline gig at The Wesley Anne, 250 High Street Northcote. As well as The Jed Rowe Band you can catch Josh Owen and Katt Beames. Tickets will be available at the door.

Then, on Sunday December 6th, The Jed Rowe Band will join Melbourne singer/songwriter Jona Byron as he launches his new CD with an afternoon matinee show at The Northcote Social Club. This is one of Melbourne's (and the band's) favourite venues, and the Sunday afternoon matinee shows have a great laid back vibe. Ticketing details TBA. 

MIDNIGHT SUN OUT AUG 7th! 

The Jed Rowe Band's debut full length album "Midnight Sun" will be available nationally in stores and from leading digital download outlets from August 7th. Featuring 13 new original tracks, the album is a tour de force of intelligent songwriting and powerful instrumentation, with Jed’s ringing lap steel complimented by stunning string, brass and percussion   arrangements. 

THE EAST BRUNSWICK CLUB ALBUM LAUNCH ANNOUNCED - THURS SEPT 3RD!

The Jed Rowe Band's national album launch tour gets underway in fine style  with an album launch gig at Melbourne's East Brunswick Club on Thursday September 3rd. Joining the Jed to celebrate the release will be a four piece band plus a host of special guest musicians. Tickets are $10 + bf presale, or $15 at the door if available. Tickets on sale at the East Brunswick Club box office, 280 Lygon St, PH: 9388 9794 or via the website www.eastbrunswickclub.com.

Note the early start time to cater for those who have to get up for work the next morning - doors open at 7:30 pm with the support act (TBA) to start at 8pm.
